BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM is used for exterior insulation. The advantage is that the characteristics of the building with the thin layout layer remain practically unchanged. Due to its special mineral composition, algae and fungi do not develop. With BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM used in new buildings, the values reached in the traditional insulation layer thickness of 3 to 5 cm were achieved by meeting the EnEV standards (energy saving regulation).

PREPARATION OF THE UNDERGROUND

First a surface to be plastered examination has to take place after the guidelines of the EN DIN 18550. The underground must be cleanly, drying, frost-protected, dust free, grease-free, freely by stopping flowering, load-carrying and free by loose parts. Moisten the underground before laying on easily. With unclear conditions, like e.g. Mixing brick-work, together with wood and concrete, recommends to absolutely install itself it a plaster base.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM is an ecological insulating plaster on water basis. Before the processing must be paid attention to the climatic conditions. Against rains anddirect sun exposure appropriate precautionary measures are to be met. The processingmust take place between +5 and +40°C. It is to be used excluding the indicated

MIXING PROCESS
