Exterior and internal insulation with BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM
There are many factors that can favorably or negatively affect a healthy room climate. Humidity, temperature, airflow or ions in the air contribute to a healthy room climate. In addition, the presence of biological factors, factors such as the interaction with mold fungi. Solvents, varnishes or even bad odors in interior paints also reduce your well-being. BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM insulation plaster regulates the room climate, provides the right humidity and fresh air.
The right choise of building materials
Energy-efficient building means a structure that is usually built by atmospheric pressure generation. Thus, the waste remains in the area for a longer time. The exchange with the outside air is considerably less than in today's old buildings. The demand for modern buildings for the right building materials is higher than in ancient times. The correct selection of building materials free of waste, mineral and diffusion is more important.
BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM creates a vibrant, healthy and environmentally sensitive solution for healthy room climate, comfortable living and more comfort. BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM insulation plaster has been developed to insulate buildings ecologically and permanently. It is an important alternative with its easy application with steel trowel or spraying, fire insulation feature, water repellent feature on vertical surfaces, and excellent waterproofing feature on terraces and horizontal surfaces.
Particularly with the monolithic construction method, which includes heat-resistant bricks, it is very important to protect the brickwork with a properly coordinated insulation plaster. It not only provides building statics but also thermal insulation. BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM is a special product that meets all these requirements for the insulation of your building.

PREPARATION OF THE UNDERGROUND
First a surface to be plastered examination has to take place after the guidelines of the EN DIN 18550. The underground must be cleanly, drying, frost-protected, dust free, grease-free, freely by stopping flowering, load-carrying and free by loose parts. Moisten the underground before laying on easily. With unclear conditions, like e.g. Mixing brick-work, together with wood and concrete, recommends to absolutely install itself it a plaster base.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
BORAMIT ÖKOTHERM is an ecological insulating plaster on water basis. Before the processing must be paid attention to the climatic conditions. Against rains anddirect sun exposure appropriate precautionary measures are to be met. The processingmust take place between +5 and +40°C. It is to be used excluding the indicated
Quantity of water for touching. During the processing and drying phase may do the environment and/or. Undergroundtemperature under +5°C do not drop. Protect up to setting-off against frost, to fastdrainage, like direct sun exposure, foehn, as well as additional moisture penetration,e.g. by rains. A front protective net is to be planned.

MIXING PROCESS
During hand processing all bag contents with suitable agitator when 500 - 600 revolutions under addition of approx. 5 litres clean water 3 minutes mix. Afterwardsagain approx. 6 litres clean water add and approx. 3 minutes mix to a homogeneousand become lumpy-free mass develop. To mature briefly let stir up and again. Theworking time can in dependence of the ambient temperature up to 4 hr. amounted to. Do not mix with other products and/or foreign matter. The complete sales orderthickness amounts to 10 to 45 mm.
Finery thicknesses > 20 mm are to be applied in multiple layers. The first finary layerserves as clamping coat and becomes in a thickness of approx. 10 mm laid on. Depending upon ambient temperature is per 2 mm finery thickness approx. to keepone day drying time.

SUBSEQUENT TREATMENT
The subsequent treatment in the external area with noble finery or coat of paint is to be applied first a clamping coat. This can depending upon ambient temperature after approximately 14 days take place.

FINAL APPLICATION PHASE
In outdoor applications, primer is applied first. Depending on the ambient temperature, this can take place after approximately 14 days.
